We collect information about you when you volunteer to work in the shop, sign up for gift aid, or request to receive information from us.
The information that we hold about you will normally only be your name, mail address, email address, telephone number/s, next of kin and any references obtained. Other information disclosed, e.g. criminal convictions, will be shredded.
We will use the information about you to organise rotas and staffing and maximise the efficient running of the shop.
We will use it to send you material that is relevant to both the objects of the shop and its operation.
We will give information submitted in order to claim Gift Aid, solely to Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.
We will not disclose any information about you to any company, another charity or any other body - unless required to do so by law or with your consent.
We want to make sure that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and up to date. You may request a copy of this information and ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
Your information will only be held by the Shop Manager and the Trustees designated to oversee the running of the Shop who may be required to contact you.
